PlayStation Enlists Tokyo Ghoul’s Sui Ishida and More Major Artists for God of War Ragnarok Project

PlayStation declared another Lord of War Ragnarok project this week that will portray characters and minutes from the series’ Norse adventure in exceptional ways with the assistance of some high-profile craftsmen including Sui Ishida, the manga craftsman most popular for the Tokyo Devil series. Ishida and others will hope to catch the “most unmistakable connections” we’ve found in Divine force of War (2018) and will find in Lord of War Ragnarok with craftsmanship from this coordinated effort set to be uncovered over the course of the following five weeks as we draw nearer to Divine force of War Ragnarok’s delivery date.

Contemporary craftsman Drew Merritt will start off the coordinated effort with a piece zeroing in on Kratos and Atreus. Following Merrit’s work will be a creation connected with the dwarven siblings Brok and Sindri from comic book craftsman Emma Ríos, something from artist Romina Whirlwind to catch the ragtag family Kratos and Atreus enrolled on their excursion, and a fourth piece from comic book craftsman Jae Lee that will highlight the toiled connection among Freya and her child, Baldur. Last will be Ishida’s creation spinning around the Aesir, the Norse family drove by Odin himself.

Merritt’s commitment to PlayStation’s “Lord of War Ragnarök Family Representation Series” will deliver on September thirteenth, a Tuesday. The other manifestations will deliver each in turn each following Tuesday until Ishida’s is uncovered on October eleventh.

In quotes shared inside the PlayStation Blog entry declaring the picture project, Ishida ruminated on the allure of Divine force of War and its new Norse adventure.

“It’s a long-running series, and the setting changed a great deal from the last installment, so I think that part of God of War’s appeal is in how players can embark from the latest game and also dip into the series’ past and explore the series’ world,” Ishida said. “Also, I’ve been interested in mythology for a long time and do a lot of reading about it, so for me, seeing how the various gods feature as characters in the games is something else fun that God of War offers.”
